Beyonce Knowles-Carter made her first public appearance last night Monday, February 6, 2012 as she attended her hubby Jay Z’s two shows at the Carnegie Hall to benefit United Way of New York City and The Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation. The singer who took delivery of her first child Blue Ivy Carter on Sunday, January 8, 2012 stepped out in a Red Alice Temperly dress, accessorized with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewels, an out-of-place Alexander McQueen clutch bag and a pair of sparkly Christian Louboutin heels. Jay Z, 42, who was dressed in a simple bow tie and dinner jacket, opened his set backed by a 36-piece orchestra. The Brooklyn rapper performed some of his songs like ‘Public service announcement’, ‘Thank you’, and was later joined on stage by Alicia Keys to perform the New York tribute ‘Empire state of mind’. Foe-turned-friend Nas also took to the stage during the gig. Bey and Jay have been married for 4 years.

We all know how Jay Z and Beyonce tried as much as possible to keep the birth of their first child Blue Ivy Carter away from the prying eyes of the media and general public. As Bey’s EDD neared, the couple rented the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hill Hospital, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for her delivery. The hospital’s management had instructed that all staff hand in their cell phones in an effort to caution ‘unauthorized photographs’ or clips of the mother and the ‘newly born’. Reports say the hospital constructed a suite for VIPs which ‘looks like a Four Seasons penthouse’ and the room’s first occupant was Beyonce and co. It’s Official: Akon Signs Wizkid, 2face, Psquare To Konvict Music

Speculation had been going around for a while now but just yesterday Saturday, December 17, 2011 Senegalese-American singer Akon revealed that he has signed Nigerian pop acts Wizkid, 2face, and twin duo Psquare to his Konvict Music label. Akon revealed this to pressmen at Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s CLUB 10 where the unveiling of energy drink Citron took place. Akon is a brand ambassador for the drink. The Konvict/KON Live boss was glad to share the news with his followers on Twitter, ‘In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa with @2faceidibia and @wizkidayo big up to P-square’, @Akon tweeted. It can be recalled that the singer had featured on a remix of Wizkid’s ‘Don’t dull’ and was seen with 2face back in June in Atlanta, Georgia. Banky also hinted at the big news as he tweeted ‘But!!!!! Last night was kinda epic. Bigups to the EMEazzyyy + Konvict Music runz. Selena Gomez' Obsessed Fan I'm a Danger to Selena!

How's this for bizarre ...The man who says he's had conversations with God about killing Selena Gomez is saying Selena needs protection from him.

Thomas Brodnicki -- who was charged with felony stalking but had the charges dismissed last month -- is now siding with Selena in her bid for a permanent restraining order against him.

The judge in the case has refused to issue the restraining order until Brodnicki could appear in court and defend himself. But now Brodnicki -- who was picked up on a psychiatric hold last month -- filed a sworn declaration telling the judge that he didn't want to attend the next court hearing on January 6, adding, "I believe that a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena Gomez."

Brodnicki goes on ... "I do not wish to object to the restraining order against me because I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena."

In another declaration that was just filed, LAPD Detective Jose Viramontes said when he picked Brodnicki up on the psych hold, "He told me that he had over fifty conversations with God a day, about killing Ms. Gomez."

Controversial and weird US singer Lady Gaga says she is writing a song about the late British Royal Lady Diana who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997.

She has also added that she fears she may end up losing her life in a similar fashion.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Gaga has always been absolutely engrossed in the life of Diana and sees herself as a 21st-century incarnation of her’.

‘She knows she is almost as recognizable as Diana and is hounded by photographers and fans on the same level. Gaga has had dreams about dying the same way as her and has genuine fears that her fame could literally kill her, either in a chase or at the hands of crazies’, the source was quoted to have said.

Gaga’s earlier single, ‘Paparazzi‘, was also about the perils of celebrity and was also written with the tragic figure of Diana in mind.

It was recalled that on August 31 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales, died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, at the age of 36.

'Chronicles of Riddick' New Movie Shut Down -- No Money, Mo' Problems

Vin Diesel's comeback as an ass-kicking ex-con from the future is on hold ... because production on the new "Chronicles of Riddick" movie has been shut down over some serious cash flow issues.

TMZ spoke with Michel Trudel -- the owner of the Montreal studio where the new movie is being shot -- who tells us he changed the locks and kicked everyone off the set Wednesday because the production company, One Race Films, has failed to pay up on time.

FYI -- One Race Films was founded by Vin Diesel ... who is also set to produce and star in the upcoming flick.

But Trudel isn't the only one griping about a paycheck -- sources connected to production tell us several members of the crew have not been paid in over 2 weeks ... and are very concerned about getting their money.

Trudel tells us he's confident the situation will be resolved soon ... and he's more than happy to let production resume ... as soon as he gets his money.

Calls to Diesel's camp were not returned.

Andrey C. Hicks was a guest at Kim and Kris Humphries televised wedding bonanza in August ... and sat right behind the happy couple during the rehearsal dinner.

But TMZ has learned ... after the wedding, Kris learned Andrey was a target in a federal investigation in which he's suspected of raising money for a purported billion dollar hedge fund ... that didn't really exist.

Officials believe Andrey lied to several investors -- including Kris -- telling them, among other things, that he was a Harvard graduate ... when in fact, he was kicked out of the University after 3 semesters for crappy grades. Officials say Andrey only took 1 math class at Harvard ... and got a D-.

Officials claim 27-year-old Hicks stole $1.7 million from various investors ... and sources close to Kris tell us the NBA star accounted for hundreds of thousands of dollars himself.

Hicks was arrested in Canada on Friday and charged with wire fraud. Officials believe he was trying to flee to Switzerland. If convicted, Hicks could face up to 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
