We all know how Jay Z and Beyonce tried as much as possible to keep the birth of their first child Blue Ivy Carter away from the prying eyes of the media and general public. As Bey’s EDD neared, the couple rented the entire fourth floor of Lenox Hill Hospital, on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for her delivery. The hospital’s management had instructed that all staff hand in their cell phones in an effort to caution ‘unauthorized photographs’ or clips of the mother and the ‘newly born’. Reports say the hospital constructed a suite for VIPs which ‘looks like a Four Seasons penthouse’ and the room’s first occupant was Beyonce and co. TMZ recently published photos of the room and here are some stunning features: There are 4 flat screen TV’s, state of the art electronics, a kitchenette, nice art, mahogany walls, plush furnishings and an extra bed! It’s Official: Akon Signs Wizkid, 2face, Psquare To Konvict Music

Speculation had been going around for a while now but just yesterday Saturday, December 17, 2011 Senegalese-American singer Akon revealed that he has signed Nigerian pop acts Wizkid, 2face, and twin duo Psquare to his Konvict Music label. Akon revealed this to pressmen at Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha’s CLUB 10 where the unveiling of energy drink Citron took place. Akon is a brand ambassador for the drink. The Konvict/KON Live boss was glad to share the news with his followers on Twitter, ‘In Nigeria with my brothers about to take over Africa with @2faceidibia and @wizkidayo big up to P-square’, @Akon tweeted. It can be recalled that the singer had featured on a remix of Wizkid’s ‘Don’t dull’ and was seen with 2face back in June in Atlanta, Georgia. Banky also hinted at the big news as he tweeted ‘But!!!!! Last night was kinda epic. Bigups to the EMEazzyyy + Konvict Music runz. Shoutout to everyone that saw the evidence :-) ’; adding ‘Last night was KINDA heavy… :-) Thank u to everybody that believed in and supported what we’ve been tryna do… Na God dey do am… God bless U real good!!!’. Details of the deals are still sketchy as the Grammy Award winning act didn’t go into details but made it known that the signing had been done earlier. Selena Gomez' Obsessed Fan I'm a Danger to Selena!

How's this for bizarre ...The man who says he's had conversations with God about killing Selena Gomez is saying Selena needs protection from him.

Thomas Brodnicki -- who was charged with felony stalking but had the charges dismissed last month -- is now siding with Selena in her bid for a permanent restraining order against him.

The judge in the case has refused to issue the restraining order until Brodnicki could appear in court and defend himself. But now Brodnicki -- who was picked up on a psychiatric hold last month -- filed a sworn declaration telling the judge that he didn't want to attend the next court hearing on January 6, adding, "I believe that a restraining order should be issued against me to prevent me from trying to contact Selena Gomez."

Brodnicki goes on ... "I do not wish to object to the restraining order against me because I know it is the only thing that will make me stay away from Selena."

In another declaration that was just filed, LAPD Detective Jose Viramontes said when he picked Brodnicki up on the psych hold, "He told me that he had over fifty conversations with God a day, about killing Ms. Gomez."

She has also added that she fears she may end up losing her life in a similar fashion.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘Gaga has always been absolutely engrossed in the life of Diana and sees herself as a 21st-century incarnation of her’.

‘She knows she is almost as recognizable as Diana and is hounded by photographers and fans on the same level. Gaga has had dreams about dying the same way as her and has genuine fears that her fame could literally kill her, either in a chase or at the hands of crazies’, the source was quoted to have said.

Gaga’s earlier single, ‘Paparazzi‘, was also about the perils of celebrity and was also written with the tragic figure of Diana in mind.

It was recalled that on August 31 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales, died as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident in the Pont de l’Alma road tunnel in Paris, at the age of 36.

'Chronicles of Riddick' New Movie Shut Down -- No Money, Mo' Problems

Vin Diesel's comeback as an ass-kicking ex-con from the future is on hold ... because production on the new "Chronicles of Riddick" movie has been shut down over some serious cash flow issues.

TMZ spoke with Michel Trudel -- the owner of the Montreal studio where the new movie is being shot -- who tells us he changed the locks and kicked everyone off the set Wednesday because the production company, One Race Films, has failed to pay up on time.

FYI -- One Race Films was founded by Vin Diesel ... who is also set to produce and star in the upcoming flick.

But Trudel isn't the only one griping about a paycheck -- sources connected to production tell us several members of the crew have not been paid in over 2 weeks ... and are very concerned about getting their money.

Trudel tells us he's confident the situation will be resolved soon ... and he's more than happy to let production resume ... as soon as he gets his money.

Calls to Diesel's camp were not returned.
